Voluntary Action Wokingham Borough exists to develop, promote and support local voluntary and community activity across the Wokingham Borough area. We do this by providing a range of support services to help build the capacity of local groups and by acting as a voice for member groups. We are run by and for local voluntary and community groups to build a strong and independent local voluntary sector.
Practical Support
We offer free tailored advice, support and training to local voluntary and community organisations.
Sector Representation
We
provide a voice for local third sector groups, promote effective
partnership working and provide networking opportunities for groups to
share best practice.
These services are free to
local voluntary & community groups.
CLOSURE OF VAWB
Voluntary Action Wokingham Borough will be closing for business on 31/03/2011. Due to difficulties securing future funding our Trustees have decided to wind up the charity.
VAWB will be publishing an assets register in April. If your local group is a member of VAWB you should received details of this. If you would like any more information about this, or are not already a member of VAWB, please contact us.
